It’s That Time of Year…The Hunt is available now.
It’s almost Fall…
The forest is the first place that hints at the coming season. We see small leaves turning yellow and orange already on the ridges up in the Rattlesnake. Summer fires begin to settle. Layers of woodsmoke lace the forest canopy. Everything takes on an amber tone as the sun lurks a little lower near the ridge lines, and the shadows grow a little longer. Fall is meant for the forests. It’s the season when all things that have leaves and needles peak in color and smell.
And with this season, we release the Hunt, our fall seasonal.
This year’s HUNT is a blend of coffees roasted from lighter to a little darker, resulting in a cup of coffee that is rich, deep, and satisfying like a morning walking into the mountains. In terms of flavor think notes of baker’s chocolate, graham cracker, and maple. It has a mild acidity that balances it’s body.
Not too light, not too dark, just right.
As mornings get colder, and afternoon sun fades faster, a solid cup of coffee in the fall is as valuable a companion as your favorite pair of boots, a good dog, and warm gloves on an excursion into the mountains… and also, just a great way to start your day in the kitchen, if that is where you happen to be. The Hunt is perfect for daily drinking.
